"Bluebird Convertibles" - Dimensions 7.25" x 7" x 13.5"

This bird house combines functionality with decorative design. The front panel is easily removed and can be switched out with any of our other decorative front panels. All of our front panels are sold individually so you can change the design as often as you like.

The "Bluebird Convertible" bird house is made from ¾" cypress wood. The front panel is ½" PVC covered with 3M Graphic Vinyl. This decorative vinyl is one of the highest grade vinyls made for outdoor use. The nesting panels are designed to provide ventilation. Grooving inside the front panel helps fledglings access the entrance hole from inside the house. A predator guard surrounds the 1½" diameter entrance hole. The 4" x 4" bottom floor is ideal for numerous backyard bird species and is the recommended dimension for attracting bluebirds. Drainage spaces on the bottom floor keep the interior dry. Special grooving on the underside of the overhanging roof acts to channel dripping water away from the nesting box. A latch on the bottom of the house allows you to easily remove the front panel for cleaning the interior or for switching panels. Constructed with stainless steel hardware, the house is built to last through many seasons.

Not only can you change the appearance of your "Bluebird Convertible" by interchanging front panels, you can also change it from a nesting box to a winter roosting box by purchasing a specially designed winter roost panel. The winter roost panels are made without ventilation spaces, allowing the bird house to stay warm during cold weather. The winter panels also feature inside grooving for clinging birds to grab on to. Each winter roost panel comes with dowel pegs to provide perching space within the roost box. Peg holes are pre-drilled into all of the "Bluebird Convertible" bird houses.
